At 33, Chef Chris Hunsicker already has 17 years of experience in the culinary world. Originally from Mountain Top, PA. Chef Hunsicker earned his culinary degree from Johnson & Wales in Denver.
He started with an apprenticeship at Fruition, followed by Jaxs Fishhouse where he learned under many renowned chefs. Chef Chris then made his way to Florence where he spent a year working in a farm-to-table Domaine and learning about Italian and european cooking techniques. Upon his return, Chef Chris became the youngest executive chef for restaurants in Keystone, CO. He then opened his first restaurant, Breckfast in Breckenridge, CO which he has owned for now 7 years. Chef Hunsicker gets his experience of French cooking from Chef Yvan Heraud, with whom he started La Francaise Bistrot 4 years ago.
