Winemakers and wine enthusiasts from around the world gather in the mountains for the annual Breckenridge Wine Classic. Experience the beauty of Breck in September while sipping on the best selection of wines from around the world. Concerts and delectable small bites add to the lively atmosphere of this late-summer festival. The Breckenridge Wine Classic offers a variety of experiences on the mountain, in restaurants, classrooms, and around town.
All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times subject to change without notice. No refunds or exchanges. No one under 21 will be admitted, including infants or children, and you must show valid photo ID. The Classic urges all adults to consume alcoholic products responsibly.

Focusing on thoughtfully curated menus, Chef Matt Vawter focuses on approachable seasonal food and an ode to upscale comfort food. Paired with Sean’s passion for exceptional wines, you’ve got a unique, dynamic duo.

All of the Canard single vineyard wines are crafted from dry farmed, estate grown grapes which are skillfully transformed into the finest expression of each varietal and showcase the unique territory from which they are grown. Their French trained winemaker straddles a fine line between Old World restraint and the vibrancy of the fruit produced from their historic vineyard in Calistoga. In just the last handful of vintages, they have received over fifty ratings of 90 points or above. Taste for yourself at Spencer’s Lounge for an exquisitely paired dinner featuring five limited production wines from Canard Vineyard.

Carboy is made up of a passionate group of winemakers and restaurateurs, striving to create and elevate a culture for wine in the centennial state. As a négociant winery, they began working with winemakers and growers from prominent regions around the country to harvest their innovative brand of Carboy wine.

An eclectic favorite for foodies, the Modis executes a contemporary and vibrant dining experience while honoring the town’s history and feel. Located in the heart of historic downtown Breckenridge, the Modis culinary team creates a menu showcasing the very best food incorporating the newest and most innovative preparations. Relish select red wines from Robert Craig Winery, one of the most prominent figures in Mountain Cabernet development and production in the history of Napa Valley. Craig was a pioneer with Planting Mountain vineyards on Howell Mountain. His legacy honors the past while continuing to press ahead with constant innovation in farming, winemaking and the warmth of experience.

After you take in the panoramic views of the hike enjoy a delicious paired lunch at the Cabin Juice restaurant featuring sparkling wines from around the world. This sophisticated new addition to the Gravity Haus boutique collection is quintessential Breckenridge. This pairing will explore undiscovered champagnes, and unique varietals in the sparkling family from around the globe.
This hike is approximately 3 miles long. Please allow up to 3 hours for the hike and lunch.

Enjoy scenic mountain trails in a guided hike that explores the breathtaking Tenmile Range in Breckenridge before venturing down under to explore the undiscovered regions of Australian wine. Following the hike, Sommelier Chris Rowe will take guests on a journey through Tasmania, Hunter Valley, and the Margaret River. Without question, Tasmanian wines have been one of the greatest discoveries over the past few years. Some of the greatest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir you’ll ever taste come from this tiny island. However, Chris will not limit you to just these grapes as you will discover. The culinary team at Cabin Juice has pairings that are always bright, fun and only uses the freshest ingredients.

Join Alexander Valley Vineyards to become a winemaker for a day! Beginning with straight-from-the-barrel samples, custom create your own unique wine blend. Trey Johnson of Alexander Valley Vineyards will guide you through the intricacies of blending as their vintner would. This 90 minute session will end with a custom crafted wine, complete with label and marketing pitch, to share with the other amateur blenders. Make your own 90+ point wine and rate others works of art. Charcuterie and light snacks included.
